VÄLITILA Final thesis exhibition of Taidekoulu MAA 19.5. - 3.6.2018 Welcome to the opening May 18 at 17:00 - 21:00

In the exhibition different ways of seeing converse with each other; in urban spaces, indoors, outdoors, locally, publicly, in the scale of insects and mushrooms, on maps, on asphalt, in soil. Is it possible to observe something beyond ones own perspective? Who defines space? What does distance consist of?

The Välitila exhibition introduces works by six artists that graduate from Taidekoulu-MAA in spring 2018. The exhibition is organized at the galleries MAA-tila and Asbestos Art Space.

Taidekoulu MAA is an independent art school established in 1986. The three-year study program has its emphasis on contemporary art and prepares graduates for art as a profession.
